exceptional blood lines and accomplished ancestry in the ring as well as field ,
service and family companions. Our dogs and breedings are screened
to confom to the Labrador Breed Standard
About Us
I have had chocolate labs since 1989. At that time, I had never heard of one, and no one else had either. My first dog was Chopper. He was an American style lab and we worked him as a duck hunting dog on the Rio Grande River in the middle Rio Grande Valley. I was hooked. I wanted to breed them and wanted good dogs, After 18 years of trying to blend English style chocolate labs with American, I stopped and purchased a show quality female chocolate lab, Puddin, from a breeder in Golden Colorado in 2015. She changed my life and my goals!! "Puddy" is my foundation female. From her, we are developing our line of high quality English style Chocolate Labradors. Our dogs are fed raw and I process all our food. I would love to discuss raw feeding with you.

Raw
We feed our Labradors raw. I have completed the Raw dog food nutrition class through Dogs Naturally University. Most dogs have intolerances to common proteins such as chicken, poultry and beef. I recommend to have your dog tested for food intolerance with Dr. Jean Dodd's Hemopet saliva test. I also recommend subscribing to Dogs Naturally Magazine. They are the premier experts on everything health related for your dog. Please do not feed raw if you don't research and do it correctly. It is more than just feeding your dog chicken necks. There are a lot of resources to get you started and guide you through it. I would love to talk "Raw" with you. Here's a guide for starting out.
Kibbles
Not everyone is able to feed raw....That happens, I have non-labrador rescues that I feed kibble. I feed Acana, which is one of the best kibbles on the market. I have completed the Pet Food Nutrition class through Dogs Naturally University. I recommend Grain Free and chicken free at a minimum. Also, have your dog tested for food intolerance just as you would for raw. Here's a guide on what to look for on the label. Canned food should also be rotated with kibble, as canned food is generally healthier.
